A real estate broker in the city says it’s the real estate in New York that is likely to take a hit, if only temporarily.
“You can see how the city’s skyline is in a state of disrepair.
I know it’s true, but I am just trying to understand how much it will affect my life,” said Shruti Jain, who has lived in Manhattan for 20 years.”
I’ve been here for a long time and it is an expensive city to live in.
But it’s been in decline,” she added.
“I think it’s going to take time for it to really start to affect the city.”
Jain said that she’s concerned about the quality of her life in the Big Apple.
“In New York, the sky is the limit, but it’s also really expensive, which is a big part of why people want to stay here,” she said.
Jain, whose apartment is located at 557 Fifth Avenue, said she and her husband decided to move out of the city because it was not affordable.
“We don’t want to live there anymore.
It’s a disaster,” she explained.
But while Jain said she was worried about the future of the skyline, she also shared her opinion that the Big Bird was in a good place.
“If the Big Blue is a good bird, then it is good for New York.
But I just don’t think that the bird is as good as it was in the past,” she reasoned.
The real estate agent said she will be keeping a close eye on the state of the property’s condition, but stressed that she has not moved out.
