A bungalower in the town of Kamloops, British Columbia, has been on the market for more than a year.
The listing on Real Estate Vancouver (REV) shows an owner selling her home for $1.1 million.
“I was just really stunned,” said Karen Anderson, the owner of a bungalowing property on Buntin Island.
“The way I look at it, it’s a $500 million home, and that’s the kind of thing that you don’t see every day.”
Ms Anderson said the bungalowed home is her life.
“It’s my place, my home,” she said.
“And I have to sell my house, because I just can’t pay rent.”
So, it was just a shock to see that I had a home for sale.
“It was only a matter of time before the bung.
Her property listing has been picked up by Realtor.com, which she said is a better site than her current listing, which was just listing for about $500K.”
They have more photos, more details, more photos than my current listing,” Ms Anderson said.
Ms Anderson had an initial conversation with REV about the listing, but she didn’t get any further information.”
My initial thought was ‘how the hell are they going to get me to pay that much for a house?’
“Ms Anderson believes the bung has value.”
In the last couple of years, I have been working hard to sell the bung, because my kids have been asking me how much I’m going to pay for it,” she explained.
Ms Pemberton said it would be easy to pay the asking price and sell the property.”
We’re working on getting it back on the road,” she told News.co.nz.
Ms Nie, the agent, said she is happy to assist Ms Anderson in getting the listing for a reasonable price.”
If she has any concerns at all about the value of the property, we can work with her to get that sorted out,” she advised.
Ms Todt said the listing is still a long way from being sold.”
There are lots of people out there looking for that house and I just want to get it on the street as quickly as possible,” she added.
The home is being advertised for $250,000 and it’s expected to be finished by the end of this year.
Ms Buntine is the only bungalOW home listed on REV.
